There are somethings you should know about Traffic Monsoon. While I do not think Traffic Monsoon is a straight out scam…yet! The risk is definitely there. Hence, I thought it will be helpful for you to really understand how Traffic Monsoon if you so decide to invest your time and money into Traffic Monsoon.
Name: Traffic Monsoon
Owner: Charles Schoville
Price: $50 per ad pack
How Traffic Monsoon Operates?
Traffic Monsoon operates in a you rub my back, I rub your back fashion that is very typical of traffic exchange sites.
As a free member in Traffic Monsoon, you can earn 1 traffic exchange credit when for every 2 sites you visit inside the traffic exchange. You are required to stay on each of site for 20 seconds and validate you are a real user by doing a simple validation at the end of the 20 second mark. The visitor credits you earned can be used to to put your site in the traffic exchange. 1 traffic exchange credit gets your site 1 visit from the traffic exchange.
So basically, visit 2 sites in the traffic exchange to get 1 visit from other Traffic Monsoon members. So if you have the time and wants 1000 visits to your site, you could visit 2000 sites on the traffic exchange. If you are a robot, at 20 sec per site, it should take no less than 24 hours to complete the task…
Of course, the better alternative would be to buy Traffic Monsoon ad packs which cost $50 each. Each ad pack gives you 1000 traffic exchange credits, 20 banner ad clicks and comes with a revenue sharing feature. When you purchase an ad pack and visit 10 sites in the traffic exchange, you are qualified for 24 hours of site revenue sharing.
For example, if you buy 1 ad packs and visits 10 sites in the traffic exchange. After 24 hours, your ad packs will receive a small amount from the revenue share. The amount could be $1, $0.50 or 1 cent for each ad pack depending on the revenue share (or the admin of Traffic Monsoon).
As long as you are qualified for revenue sharing, each active ad pack you purchase should receive a small amount from the revenue sharing until it reach the $55 cap.
Please note: there is no guarantee whatsoever by Traffic Monsoon that your ad packs will definitely reach the $55 cap. Nor is there a fixed time frame stipulating when the ad packs will reach the $55 mark.
However, most people who joins Traffic Monsoon would usually purchase 20 ad packs or more to reap the so called benefits of compounding interest. Say you purchase 25 ad packs. If each ad pack receives a revenue share of $1, you would get roughly $25 in 24 hours. In 2 days you should have about $50 which you can cash out but most people would just take the money to buy another ad pack.
The rationale? As you buy more and more ad packs, the daily revenue share you receive from your active ad packs should also increase exponentially. At 50 ad packs, you should be able to buy 1 new ad pack a day. At 100, you can buy 2 ad packs a day. At 200 ad packs, you potentially can buy 4 ad packs a day from the revenue share. I think you get the possibilities with this.
Many people are attracted by such platforms because it feels like you are getting the much needed traffic while getting paid to do it. Yeah! Awesome?
What You Should Know about Traffic Monsoon
You probably realise by now I am not exactly a fan of Traffic Monsoon or similar sites. Mostly because such sites don’t really have a good reputation. Nor has the business model proven to be sustainable. I have seen such sites crash only to have a new one spawn promising to be different than the rest but crash yet again. Such sites usually have a lifespan of about 2 years. I think Traffic Monsoon started about end 2014, so another year perhaps?
Now this is one guy’s online history could make you think twice about putting money into Traffic Monsoon. I shan’t say more. By the way, he is the owner.
This is Not Designed to Make You Money
You gotta understand that Traffic Monsoon is designed to do 2 things. Get people to spend money on ad packs and to make sure that the money stays within the coffers of Traffic Monsoon by getting the same people who spend money on ad packs to buy even more ad packs.
Think about it. If you invested $1000 on ad packs and diligently buy ad packs every time your revenue share earnings hit $50, who has more of your money at any given time. What happens if revenue sharing stops tomorrow? In case you have not notice, Charles Schoville can decide to stop the pay back on the ad packs at anytime.
You Will Earn Less Each Day
If new member acquisition for Traffic Monsoon is slower than the rate of increase in the number of active ad packs. Without new members, Traffic Monsoon will have no access to new funds. However, current members will continue to visit sites and active ad packs in the system will just keep growing. This means Traffic Monsoon will quickly deplete its reserved funds. To curb the loss, it will lower the daily revenue shared back to each active ad packs in the system. I think this is already happening.
I was not joking when I said daily amount received from revenue share could be 1 cent…or less.
Would You Pay $50 For Paid To Click Traffic (PTC)?
Lastly, I just want to put this out there. Without the revenue sharing opportunity, would you spend $50 for traffic that comes from the traffic exchange?
