Michael Flores and Glenn Manger would like you to think that M & G Home Business can solve the lead generation problem for home business owners. Unfortunately, their program will NOT solve your lead generation woes but will have you paying high monthly membership fees to use their lead generation system that simply does not work.
Name: M & G Home Business
Price: $49.95 for first month then $39.95 every month
Owners: Michael Flores & Glenn Manger
Lead generation is of key importance to any business. Without proper lead generation system in place, your business will be struggling to generate any form of revenue.
The same especially applies to home businesses. It is common for home business owners to struggle in market their business opportunity in the absence of a workable lead generation system or strategy.
M & G Home Business sells itself as an automated marketing/ lead generation service that builds you a profitable opt in email list and you can customize it to advertise whatever you want it to advertise.
You may have heard of this saying: “the money is in the list”. I often stress the importance of building an email list when building your business online. Not just any email list, but an email list of people who are interested in your offer or business. The bigger the list you build, the higher the potential earning from the list.
However, it is not easy to put together a successful lead generation system that can build you an email list of interested prospects. What makes M And G Home Business so appealing is that it promises to have all the heavy lifting done for you. All you need to do is tell it what you want to market.
When you set up the web based system – their in house email marketing platform (which is supposed to work like Aweber, GetResponse), you will be able to insert one link of whatever business offer you like to promote. This link will then be promoted in the generic email campaign’s follow up messages.
Once the marketing funnel is set up, the system adds 300 new “home business leads” daily to your generic email campaign. Just like an autoresponder, the system will send out the follow up messages to these leads.
If the leads provided actually opened the email messages and clicked on your link, this “hot leads” will be moved into another separate email campaign within the system where you can follow up with your own customizable messages to promote your business.
300 Leads a Day Is Serious Business… If Only It Works!
Setting up the system is pretty easy and I actually got 400 leads loaded into my M & G marketing system on Day 1.
Day 2 – Another 400 leads.
Day 3 – At this point, I have over 1000 leads added by the system.
Honestly, it would be a challenge for me to generate 1000 quality leads in just 3 days. Maybe they are that good at lead generation. The critic in me just needed to have a closer look at these leads.
Which looks good at first glance: All leads are from tier 1 countries like United States. The emails look decent enough (I mean don’t look fake). We have the name, address, phone number and even IP address.
Day 30 – and over 10,000 leads later…
Basically, nothing happen.
With over 10,000 supposedly good home business leads, and over 20,000 email sent and getting nothing: Not a single click? Never mind that, not even 1 email message sent by the system was open or read.
Pardon my disappointment; I have done my fair share of email marketing and zero open, zero clicks from 10,000 leads is seriously wrong. Either there are problems with the leads provided and/or there is serious email deliverability issue with their server.
I actually tried contacting their support desk regarding my zero open, zero click situation.
However, I did receive an email few days later asking me to upgrade my leads package to “real time leads” for another $9.95.
Apparently, I have been receiving burn out 2nd pass leads that is pretty worthless. See Description below from M&G Home Business:
(Note: you will not see them mentioning this on their sales page).
Had I known earlier that it is leftover scrape leads they are delivering, I would not have bothered. Moreover, there is no mention of exclusivity; I won’t be surprised that the same 10,000 rubbish leads I received were already shared numerous times among other M & G system users.
300 leads a day, 10,000 leads a month might seem like a lot. A lot of rubbish I mean. I will be surprised if you can get any response at all from such leads. There is a vast difference from what is promised in the sales page and what the product actually does (…which is basically nothing).
Paying $49.95 for a system that simply won’t work is totally unacceptable.
